Radio Survivor to hit up LPAM.

Boomer alerted me to this,   http://www.radiosurvivor.com/2017/08/07/low-power-lpam/     At the very least, we should still keep the topic alive.
I was asked, yet another weird question, of how I would like to be buried, when I finally bite the big one. The answer was actually pretty easy. Face-down, like a certain historical figure in the late 1980's, (I will not mention who, but some of you will get it, and that's enough.) Why??? It would be a burial that will satisfy everyone: (1) My enemies will say that it will show me where to go. (2) On the same point, I can have my enemies kiss my butt. (3) It will temporarily give someone a place to park a bicycle. See??? A WIN / WIN for everyone.

Its a nice idea, but getting LPFM into reality was a 20 year battle with a lot of small groups working behind the scenes to grease all the appropriate orifices of the leviathan that is the commission.  If it was to succeed, I suppose the commission could, in the interest of their AM revitalization policy, incentivize stations to go dark, particularly rimshots into large metros with complex DA's.  Once they have cleaned up the band, then and only then would it be possible to bring something like this to reality.

...And as usual, the places where the licenses would be needed most, in large cities with diverse populations, there would probably be next to no available frequencies...just like LPFM.
