Windy 4102.32
« on: September 25, 2010, 1134 UTC »
Got up early this morning with hope of logging all those
"easy" to get beacons in the lower 4000 to 5200 Khz
region. Only traces of signals at the listed frequencies,
not hardly a good logging.

Lots more static then I figured as only Windy was readable
and reasonably steady amongst all the noise. Just a few dits
and the ID at 11:10 UTC. Is it time to build a K9AY or other
directional?

Florida's down fall is that extra 6-12 db more static which
can be very frustrating. The fall is here so lets hope the
static diminishes enough to log all these guys.

Here's looking to quieter times!
