Latin American DX 27555 USB 27.555 MHz USB 25 Sept 2017

While the rest of the band remains quiet, I am hearing Spanish language stations calling CQ and making contacts on 27.555 USB 27555 USB.  Several stations heard talking over each other at 2038 UTC.  Oddly enough, no other frequencies seem to be active at this time...only "the triple" 27555 USB.  Even the usual Spanish language calling frequency (27455 LSB) is quiet.
