UNID 6880 AM 1525 UTC 11 Oct 2017
« on: October 11, 2017, 1529 UTC »
6880 AM on the air with 10-12 kHz wide AM audio on peaks on the NY remotes.

There seems to be some sort of data QRM on 6879 kHz or so that is making listening difficult, at 1628 UTC, signal now gone from NY remote SDR receivers (and was never recievable locally)...weaker signal on other remote receivers...one in Indiana is just showing a faint carrier on 6880 kHz, others nothing at all.

Usually I can hear this station very well, armchair copy or close to it, on both my local receivers and the various Internet receivers/remote SDRs.

1533 Weak music here, SIO 111. The band is not quite open for NVIS yet, but we're getting there.
1548 Now up to SIO 222.
1752 foF2 is almost 7 MHz now, and the signal is SIO 333 to 444.

1927- "Power Of Love" Huey Lewis remix version  S8-9 and great AM audio
1935- "I Can Dream About You" remix version
1945- "Talking In Your Sleep" remix version  signal faded down to S1-2 quickly
1948- just a very faint carrier now

 Thanks for the music!  ;D

6880 in W. Europe :
2024 UTC : trace, seems modulated
2127 : peaking with music, then up and down, only music (very weak at best, no details) still on at 2147
Could it be the same station ? (Nothing on 6925-6940)
D/E/F/G/It/Sp : Dutch/English/French/German/Italian/Spanish
+/- : about 0.02 offset, ++/-- 0.03/0.04 offset
