These are the same clowns from 3825. They are on daily bashing each other mostly on 7200. They have a ringleader that sparks them all up. "Bad hams behaving badly" as someone referred to them before.

That 3825 bunch isn't too discrete. When the fights break out, they start using real names. Around the major drinking holidays they can get pretty wound up.

Last week, this was going on and someone reported in in a forum. I tuned over too late to hear any music, but one ham was claiming that "Larry" in Wisconsin was doing it. That was then; I have no idea if Larry was the suspect this time around, too, but it sounds like the culprit was not giving his call.

They used to like 3843 as well, at least here in the SouthEast. Some of them date back to when 14.313 was a zoo, and maybe even 14.275 before then.

The Cap'n Dave net. That's still active as far as I know, although it's been a month or so since I last tuned in. Since I think the cap'n is using max power, he's about the only one I can hear clearly there, but I have copied him at 7200 too.

In the "Letters from Our Members" correspondence column,  May 2018  issue of ARRL QST magazine, is posted a letter from an amateur radio operator regarding the 7.200 MHz and 3.822 MHz situation. The use of  indecent language, music, transmitting without a call sign, hate language and threats have been normal operating habits from a few on these frequencies. The writer contacted the FCC Enforcement Bureau Laura Smith about this behavior and she has notified the Enforcement Bureau Chief and FCC Chairman and will engage FCC resources too resolve this matter. The writer states that Laura Smith is requesting the amateur radio community  to keep a log for 30 days or so of the operators who are intentionally violating the rules. The writer also states that amateur radio operators can notify her via e-mail of any negative patterned behavior so the activity can be eliminated and curtailed.
