No positive ID heard, but distinctive audio quality, signal strength, dead on 6925 without drift, and program mix sounded very much like Wolverine Radio.
6925 USB, 8/9/08
0146-0240 UTC - Song sounding like Warren Zevon; op saying something about "...chaos..." and "...on the line..." as if taking phone calls, difficult to copy through noise. (Update: Took some digging and repeated listening, but this was a Roger Waters song titled "Radio Waves" from the album "Radio K.A.O.S." and the line "Alright, that's song called Radio Waves. You are listening to K.A.O.S. in Los Angeles and we've got Billy on the line" comes straight from the song itself.)
Several bits from National Lampoon Radio Hour. ZZ Top "La Grange", Dire Straits "Calling Elvis", other recordings. Signal increased from S6-S9 as show progressed.
0237z - Off or dead air, heard an AM carrier without audio, slightly off at around 6925.1 kHz, possibly another op
0240z - Whinny or scream, a bit of "Tush" by ZZ Top with tech glitches, then off. Carrier still audible around 6925.1 kHz.
SINPO - 35233 Good signal and audio, lots of static.
Audio clip for most of nearly one-hour show:
