Not sure when it started. I was actually checking for it at 0158 per previous days' logs by Chris and others who recorded it, but it was finally on by 0309.

I too am bored, but at this point it's worth logging him to see when he's on, how long he'll be doing the nightly broadcasts this time before he ends up disappearing for the season, and when he might resurface next time.

i can hear this religious zealot on my RSP2 at S5-7 but the strong static crashes from lightening are wiping him out (i tell ya, i think my dipole is better for receiving lightening lol).
however, i can hear him better on the West Chester, Ohio SDR with the same signal strength but much less static crashes.
i can imagine this guy sitting inside an RV motor home someplace at a campground, sitting down and talking into a desktop amateur radio microphone with a subtle light overhead because it sure sounds that way - almost similar to the scene in the movie "2012"

SDR recording catch.  The carrier came up at 0302 UTC with some weak audio, OM speaking, but not possible to understand what he was saying.
A bit stronger by 0327 or so but still pretty weak.
Days of Hard Life at 0524 then off.

assuming i am correct about where he is broadcasting from, he would be better off operating a 10 watt FM broadcast transmitter instead

TRS, I knew of a guy who did the RV thing years ago. However, he was trying to lead people down a path of crazed perversion. I don't know what happened to him, but he taught me a lot about stealth antennas in campgrounds. He was a good guy.

He's trying to spread his message, my guess is he hopes the occasional SWL will stumble on his transmissions, which is why he transmits inside the 41m SWBC band, vs 43m. He probably does not care if us pirate listeners can hear him or not.
