Wolverine Radio 6925U dance theme
« on: January 30, 2011, 0106 UTC »
1/30/11
6925 USB
0057z: Barenekkid Ladies "Testing 1-2-3", Wolverine Radio ID, dance theme songs including "Save The Last Dance For Me" (not sure if Ben E. King or Drifters), Beatles "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You", Wolverine Radio ID, Beach Boys "Dance, Dance, Dance", Martha and the Vandelllas "Dancing In The Street", Sly and the Family Stone "Dance To The Music".

Not strong so far but very low QRN and RFI here tonight so good audibility.

0115z: Only occasionally audible now between fades, hearing Neil Young "When You Dance I Can Really Love" (last time I heard this one was when Dead Cat Radio played it, must've been over a year ago?); Stones "Dancing With Mr. D"; Led Zep "Dancing Days"; Ramones; Patti Smith "Dancing Barefoot"; faded out during B-52's "Dance This Mess Around", just audible enough since to tell something's there.

0205z: Floated back in with Springsteen "Dancing In The Dark" and Hooters "And We Danced"; Don Henley "All She Wants To Poo Is Pants"
0230z: Off after Phil Collins "I Can't Dance" and SSTV

0310z: Follow-up show with "girl" theme: Neil Young "Cinnamon Girl", David Bowie "China Girl", Tom Petty "Here Comes My Girl", Knack "Good Girls Don't", others.

Was shuttling between radio and kitchen during girl theme segment, but the second Wolverine show seemed a bit stronger here than the dance theme show.
