Note: HM01's signal has been terrible all day, which is weird - sometimes it's poor 1600-1800 and good 2100-2200, sometimes vice versa, but rarely both blocs of time. I'm able to hear the new number groups, but forget about getting the files. Will try either tonight (0500 or 0600 UTC, June 16th) or tomorrow (1600). [See note in green font below.]

Errors/issues: Strong carrier up by 1551, but nothing transmitted until Windows noises heard at 1605. "032" heard at 1606, then nothing til 1607, when it started broadcasting two feeds, one delayed about six seconds after the other. See:

I tuned away for a bit, but tuned back at 1640. The delay was reduced to about three seconds, but was still present.

So that latest file (which I looked at) is encrypted, as opposed to the unencrypted Chinese? The latter is a brilliant if uber-low tech idea, btw!

Yes, this is how the files usually appear. I have no idea what the Chinese ones were all about. It's not as obscure as, say, the Navajo language is. It makes one wonder if Pedro was put in charge of encryption for the week.  ;D

If we assume that the common westerner outside of an alphabet agency will look at the Chinese as "gibberish" and throw it in the trash, it's kind of low-tech-brilliant. OTOH, what the hell, at least it's something new! :P
