I listen to them occasionally when I'm down in Frederick for work, unfortunately i don't have an HD receiver so i won't be able to see how well it does in digital only mode.

I have the digital signal on 820 AM now, 2030 UTC 12 Jul 2018. Not sure if I have any radios that can tune it in...

Pretty wide, covers 5 AM channels. Yuck. Here is what the signal looks like:

There are a number of those digital AM stations here in Denver. There's one on 670 that I hate - it makes a terrible noise on 660, which I used to check on my non SDR receivers for KTNN, a 50 kW station out of Window Rock, Arizona. Parts of Denver are just within its normal nighttime broadcast pattern, allegedly, but with this digital hash from 670 sitting right on it, there's no chance of getting it. It wasn't until I got my RSP2pro that I could see why there was noise right there.

What a mess.

830 WCCO used to run IBOC, but have recently turned it off. Unknown if it will stay off.

780 WBBM from Chicago also uses it and it jams 770 WABC at night. I like to try to pull in WABC when KUOM goes off for the day.

Stupid IBOC.  >:(

I'd like to know how a full digital IBOC station sounds. I have a receiver and tried WCCO when they were hybrid. They're 50kW at about 14 mi away. The stream sounded like a crappy Internet stream over a modem and it would lose lock once in a while.

Outside of the groundwave, forget it. I tried a station in MO once and that was nothing but futility. All a digital DX station does is jam its neighbors.

I happened to check the MW band on the F3FEF web SDR last night and it must have been them. You could just barely see the WNYC carrier. Did they up the power or was it just good conditions?
