Northern Relay Service
3/27/11
6930 AM
0235z: Very faint copy so far via left coast remote, sounded like CW ID for Radio Junk and words "girlfriend" and "prison".
0239z: Brief signal peak, YL voice "You have been listening to Radio Junk" along with CW ID
0241z: OM voice, partial copy, something about "...transmitters...", "...gmail dot com..."
0242z: Northern Relay Service ID
0243z: Flute music, operatic YL vocals, CW
0250z: Tried outdoors with Sony 2010, actually a little better than via left coast remote, still hearing operatic music.
0300z-0330z: Outdoors with Sony 2010 in AM sync, better copy than via left coast remote.  Radio Free Manitoba (RFM and phonetic Romeo Foxtrot Mike ID's), extended remix of the hilarious Orson Welles outtakes from the frozen peas commercial, arguing with studio producers, along with puns on peas and appeasement.  Also heard extended edit remix of Kasey Kasem's tantrum over U2, etc.
0335z: Must be off, lost carriers via remote and local tuners.

SINPO=32333.  Main problems were local RFI and fading, tho' some static crashes were a little heavier than usual for this time of year.

Best outdoors with Sony ICF-2010 in AM sync, but too damned cold and windy to stay outside.  Very choppy fades via this Canadian left coast remote.  Steady carrier here at home via indoor fugloop but only partial copy.  No copy via CO or KY remotes.

eQSL confirmation for this show arrived the next day.  Thanks!
