Bust A Nut Radio, 6940am
« on: April 09, 2011, 0424 UTC »
Bust A Nut Radio, 6940.0am , 4-9-11, SINPO 25242. Rough going trying to pull this one out with all the summer-like crash here in Chicago.

0417z - Foreigner - Hot Blooded
0420z - female "You're listening to Bust-A-Nut Radio" ID, then into Night Ranger "Sister Christian"
0424z - Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood

Pretty much lost the audio around 0440z. Carrier still there as of 0530z.

First time hearing BANR - thanks for the show!

4/9/11
6940 AM
0425z: Good signal here at home via Snoopy indoors.  Boston, Night Ranger "Sister Christian", BANR Radio ID "with dual nut spin!"
0430z: Molly Hatchet "Flirtin' With Disaster"
0434z: BANR ID, "log us to FRN or HFU", KISS live version of "Rock and Roll All Nite"
0441z: Foreigner "Juke Box Hero"
0453z: Molly Hatchet "Flirtin' With Disaster" redux
0503z: Stones "Start Me Up"
0515z: Mouse of Pain "Jump Around"
0529z: Boston, still hanging in there but deeper fades and rapid fluttering fades now.
0537z: Real men of pirate radio Bud ad
0538z: And off.  Good signal overall tonight!

I think I've said this before, but this really is the best I've heard BANR so far via indoor fugloop.  Occasionally peaking S7 over fades and heavy static crashes.  I usually have to go outdoors with portable to catch most AM pirates clearly.

Started listening to BANR abt. 0440 UTC, 04/16/11
Best Quality Pirate Audio and probably the best Format/Content I've ever heard.
SIO = 433, Strength Avg S6 - S9 (as high as S9+5) using Ten Tec RX-340 with 100' Random Wire in Synch. AM Mode

0449  "Dance to the Music"
0452   BANR Announcement then "Flirtin' w/ Disaster" Molly Hatchett
0457  "Dual Nut Spin" Ann. then "Little Willy Won't Go Home"
0500  "Respect" Aretha Franklyn
0502   BANR Announcement followed by "Start Me Up" Rolling Stones
0505  "Dual Nut Spin" Ann. then "TNT" AC/DC
0509  "Here Comes the Sun" The Beatles
0513   Ann. to log at the FRN Grapevine and HF Underground
0516  "Dual Nut Spin"
0522   Same Ann. as 0513
0526   Ann. then "Don't Look Back" Boston
0536   Commercial (Parody?) Bud Light presents "Real Men of Radio"
0537   Theme from "Bonanza
0538  Lost Transmission or End of Broadcast (?)

Tnx for best pirate ever logged.
