At 1818 utc today....
« on: October 03, 2018, 1522 UTC »
An alert will be sent to every phone in the country as part of a National Emergency System and/or that we have 42 minutes to find an establishment to watch FCB/Spurs.  :D

Hopefully, there will not be a rash of motorists all reaching for cellphones at that moment.
Tecsun H501x (broadcast received on this unless noted), Zenith T/O G500, Zenith T/O Royal 7000, Emerson AR-176, Zenith 8S154, T/O 7G605 (Bomber), Tecsun PL-600, Tecsun PL-880, Zenith 5S320, Realistic DX 160 using 40 feet of copper wire.  With apologies to Senator Gramm for his thoughts on firearms, "I have more radios than I need but not as many as I want."

Oh...  Just got it, and I was at first scared that this had to do with all the Cubbie fans jumping off of roofs.

Lol...hope I don’t join them after tonight.

Hats off to the Rox, though.  They will have had to play 4 games, in 4 different cities, in 5 days in 3 time zones.  I have long lamented, since the new wild card format, that a team will eventually have to play 5 in 5 different cities. If the Rox needed to make up a rain out in NY on Monday, per se, it would have been 5 in 5 in 4 time zones.
