Eccentric Shortwave 6925 USB

4/24/11
6925 USB
0415z: Some live Humble Pie with Steve Marriott wailing, "You are listening to Eccentric Shortwave" ID over music, back to Humble Pie.
Good via remote tuner in Cleveland, barely audible here at home in Gopher Stomp via the fugloop.
0425z: More Pie, "Come On Everybody", fair to good via Colorado remote, still just barely audible here at home.

0500z: Back on, Eccentric Shortwave ID after King Crimson.
Very good via Ohio remote, still nary a peep here at home.
0509z: Eccentric op live on mic, shout out to other stations heard tonight - Captain Morgan, others.
0510z: Return shout-out from unid station (voice sounded familiar, can't place it tho')

Very good audio, via the remotes I'm trying.  Good balance and seems to be avoiding too much compression - good dynamic range for shortwave sideband.

Eccentric SW, 6925u, 4-24-11, SINPO 35433
Nice to hear ESW here in Chicago. Initially tuned in to a S1 signal, but steadily improving since the ID. Sounds like some 60's live rock.

ID at 0418z.

Nice S8 signal at 0429z with female synth ID "You are listening to Eccentric Shortwave".

Final ID and off at 0433z

Signal just above high noise level making ID difficult. After listening to recording ID confirmed as Eccentric Shortwave.

Station: Eccentric Shortwave
Freq: 6925khz usb
SIO: 222

0502 - Music
0604 - ID heard and into next track, noise back up making copy difficult
0604 - ID heard, noise now blanking out most of it
0608 - Live ann. ID, shout outs and off.

Thanks for the show!
