Captain Morgan 6924.2 USB
« on: August 30, 2008, 0857 UTC »
6924.2 USB (Captain Morgan was reported earlier just above 6925 kHz in AM mode, but not audible here.)
0410-0430 UTC: The Cap'n with the usual friendly brew of partial songs, warbly audio, drifty signal and gregarious voice IDs.  Average White Band "Cut the Cake", ZZ Top "La Grange", bits of Amy Winehouse "Rehab", Seals and Crofts "Summer Breeze", Rolling Stones, Steppenwolf, Twilight Zone theme, "One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer" (not Hooker version), other songs.  Two or three positive voice IDs, "You're in the pirate zone with Captain Morgan."
SINPO - 32322, QRM from ute or other station, noisy condx, fading but punchy signal.
