WKND 6940 AM
« on: May 04, 2011, 0002 UTC »
5/3/11
6940 AM
0001z: Been listening for awhile via remote tuner, some hip-hop I didn't recognize, a PSA, WKND ID, shout-outs to furkinds.
0010z: WKND - "We're K9 Dog" - ID, just played some Ice Cube (more stuff I don't recognize), sounds like two fellas on the mic.
0012z: Signal dropped mid-sentence with DJ chatter.

Not strong and fighting heavy static crashes, but occasionally peaking enough to copy.  Alas, all via New England remote tuner, nary a hint of a signal here in Gopher Stomp.

Nice catch! I was entangled in technical work last night and missed WKND, but would enjoy hearing him more often, relayed or otherwise.
