Mix Radio International 4090 USB 0143 UTC 18 Nov 2018
« on: November 18, 2018, 0147 UTC »
Already in progress when I noticed it at 0143 with music.  Off @ 0144.  Good audio while it lasted, once I switched to SSB.

Checked back @ 0202 and is back on, S6 with some fades.  Excellent audio.  Seems to be a little LSB present.  Guessing this is Mix Radio doing some tests[?]
0206 - up to S7, Shazam say "Pressure" Extended Spirit
0231 - ID by synth YL, S8 to S9
0340 - still going strong with "Libertango", still S8 to S9, very steady signal
0347 - synth YL ID.  (I miss the Australian accent YL)
0400 - synth YL with 'Mix', then off

Tuned in at 0212utc, weak at low noise level, hear slow smooth jazz. At 0225utc signal strength improving, nice program of music, still on at 0330 with dance music, off at 0400utc.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

It's weak here, and I have some static crashes butting in, but definitely hear smooth jazz/instrumental music just above the noise as of 0222 UTC.

Excellent mixing and audio work in the Mix Radio I. studios tonight. Smooth, great sounding music and great play lists. Thanks a lot Mix Radio International. This makes pirate radio really worthwhile.

coming up on 0400 utc in a minute- great song at the moment. The woman's voice doing your IS sounds very, um, good.
