Within regards to the 5.150MHz M89 posting in the above loggings, there was a 599 plus 10dB over nine tuning carrier on and off (1124-1129z) prior to the "WNF/FXM" format.  The M89 transmission was not there prior to 1130z.

In the past the Russian Far East military have used 5.150MHz on SSB with Russian chat noted from time to time, maybe the 599 plus 10dB over carrier belonged to them as it was not from the M89 station as it was barely audible on CW (219-319 report at best) and as mentioned, did not commence until 1130z.

Also of note is that the M8JF/RIS9 stations are always the strongest here, followed by the QW2A/G5VD format stations which suggest to me that they are close to the Pacific or in far southern China. The remaining M89 stations are always much weaker here and thus much further away inland?
