Info-tec M-605

While spring cleaning I stumbled across an Info-Tech M-605 FDM Demodulator and while I haven't spent much time today googling the M-605 I have not found much information at all. Does anyone have a manual that I could buy or perhaps pay for a copy of the manual?

Universal Radio MAY/SHOULD have a manual for it.    https://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/decoders/m605.html
Universal was involved in the production of these and should be able to tell you anything you want to know about them.

I will email them this week. Years ago I had an Universal M-400 that I picked up somewhere. I was at their Reynoldsburg store and saw a reprint of the manual. I asked Fred's wife (gack; can not think of her name right now) how much it cost, there no price tag on it. Any way she looked at it and told me that it was free. Good people and did I love that store. The new one not so much but happy to see that they are still in business.

Never heard of the 605. Had a 600 and it ran flawlessly, intrigued by the 605 but am concerned you'll be hard pressed to find much fdm ota. Does it cover any other modes?

That being said, USAF still uses vft/fdm modems on occasion. The signal used to be as ubiquitous as S4285 is today.

I believe that you are right jFarley I think it is Barb. Josh I'm not sure what is  out there either, but I would like to try and find it if there is. Don't know if it covers any other modes yet. But will keep looking for information.

Seems it'd be good for any rtty, vft, fdm, and specialises in very narrow shift keying, very narrow shift keying still found on the vlf bands today. Neat toy!
