10m activity today
« on: May 10, 2019, 1740 UTC »
I took the day off and had some time for radio. 10m is really hopping today. Just worked VE3XYY from my qth in Florida. He was almost 20 over here. Worked some others also, NY, PA, TX. Haven't heard activity like this in a long time.
Listening on an Icom-718 with a 135' OCF dipole or a Grundig G3 and MLA-30 when portable. When QRP I use a Hendricks PFR-3 I built. Coverage is 20,30 and 40 meters.
