Channel Z contest show 6264 AM

Group effort log!
9/30/08, 6264 AM
0100-0120 UTC: Channel Z contest show with same programming recently logged on other frequencies including blues rock with harp from Magic Dick on the lickin' stick (J. Geils Band "Whammer Jammer"), and funk from Billy Preston ("Outa-Space", confirmed via audio clip from Jon-FL).

Here in N. Central TX, I heard only the closing ID with "...until next time..." and B-52's "Channel Z" signature tune at end, but listeners in Florida copied show with good audio clip, good audio, low signal strength through heavy static crashes.  SINPO - 24422 in N. Central TX.

Thanks to Jon-FL on IRC for the heads up! He helped us catch this one since he often scans the 6200-6300 kHz range.

SIO 212 here, caught funk guitar distinctly; a surprise slot I'll have to add to my scannable frequencies - thx for the log, so this wasn't my imagination!
