UNID (M08?)
« on: November 08, 2011, 1522 UTC »
On 6 November 2011 at 0503 UTC I stumbled up a Morse code transmission on 5895kHz.  I currently don't know Morse  code and I didn't have a recorder. The transmission ended at 0538 UTC.  This was using a Grundig G3 with the whip antenna. I was wondering if this may have been M08?

Edit to add: My location is in West Texas, USA.

Yes, this was most likely M08, the time is correct and the frequency is close.  However, the real frequency should have been 5898 kHz.  Did you tune this in AM mode or was it in USB/LSB/CW?
