6925 USB Readings from "Catcher in the Rye"
« on: October 09, 2008, 0404 UTC »
10/8/08, 6925 USB, two segments of readings from JD Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye", possible from book on audio tape.  Part 1 was 15 minute segment from 2230 (already in progress)-2241 UTC; off air; then Part 2 between 2330-2345 UTC.  Fair signal, good audio intelligibility tho' fading to barely audible at times.  No ID given.  Each segment ended with odd sound fx and what sounded like fire truck siren and horns.  (N. Central TX)
