Audible bluegrass-style music audible out here in Lake Stevens, Wash., as of 0017 UTC, but not too far above the noise floor.

Tater Bugs Midnight Hillbilly Show 6960 USB 0012-0038 UTC 5 October 2019
« Reply #7 on: October 05, 2019, 1031 UTC »
One last tuning around 43 meters before hitting the sack and this was on 6960U with a very good signal! Listened for a few minutes and hit the record button on timer.
0012 UTC OM chatting "Here's more from Tater Bugs Midnight Hillbilly Show", into "Mule Skinner Blues"-Bill Monroe
0018 UTC "Big Rock Candy Mountain"-Harry McClintock
(Listened back this morning to show....some really nice backwoods finger picking tunes!)
0037 UTC OM chatting "That'll be all...Midnight Hillbilly Special...this is old Tater Bugs. Thank you for listening. See ya", then OFF at 0038 UTC

Thanks for the hoedown Tater Bugs! Hope to hear some more of this on the funny bands!  :)

As someone who used to pull a logging chain behind his Grandpa and the plow to break up the clods in the tater patch starting at the age of eight, I appreciate the effort, but where was Gid Tanner And His Skillet Lickers, Uncle Dave Macon, Jimmy Rogers, Lonzo And Oscar, Grandpa Jones, and the lovely Minnie Pearl? You know what I'm talking about, Classical Music!

I hate taters, but I sure miss that mule, Sam. He never kicked me, which is more than I can say for Grandpa and those damned useless horse's he used to keep.
