It looks like all the valuable information accumulated over the past 10+
years here will soon be gone, unless some action is taken.  I unfortunately
don't have the time to do anything about this, although I will try my best
to save all the files and photos to my hard drive.

If there are any computer savvy people in this group with some spare time,
perhaps you could migrate the group to groups.io?  Or at least temporarily
save all the data and messages?

I'm not sure how this software works, but it might be a way to save
everything.  This was posted to another group I belong to:

I use PG Offline version 4.0.897 for downloading all message postings,
files, and photos from any Yahoo Groups forum. This means nothing is lost.

Perhaps this forum is (or will be) hosted somewhere else. I have chosen
groups.io as the new host for my two Yahoo Groups forums. If so, I may see
you all there soon.

Lol @ aclamation. Anyway, I think they (io) expect to be paid to transfer the belongings from one house (yaho) to another (io).

I think Pigmeat got in when his family paid a "broker" a lot of money; something about his being on the croquet team...

I was one of the first guys in that group, Al. Unless you were going by the alias "Fearless Fred", you were behind me. Now quit yer yappin' and crawl back to where you were before you cut line. And no, you can't use my bathroom. You'll have to make due with the Porta-Jon at the construction site down the hill like the rest of wannabe pirates, Fanny.
