WSCR 670 khz/UNID @ 0653 UTC 23 Dec 2019

So here's a strange one....the stronger station here is WSCR, out of Chicago.

There is another station under WSCR (and it's pretty much getting blown away).  I can't quite make out what that station might be, but it seems to be airing some kind of music.  I think it could be classic rock from "Yes"...that's what I think I heard, but I'm not sure.  If this is so, then my best guess would be that this is WLUI out of PA....but that station doesn't appear to be licensed for night broadcasts.

Can anyone help me out on this ID?

WSCR and ?

Hi Matt -

To me, the background music almost has a Spanish flavor to it.  Being you picked this up out of Kentucky, I will guess and say it is Spanish station, 1000 watt night time, WWFE out of Miami.  WWFE has a night time music program called "en el jardin de la noche." WSCR is generally an easy catch in our mutual home state, once the sun goes down in Chicago.  I will often DX the Whitesox during the baseball season.  As for WWFE, I have picked them up on a good radio in Connecticut between the window of sunset here and before sunset in Chicago.  I emphasize a good radio as WFAN must not interfere with WWFE.  I might try for them between 2130-2200utc on the PL 880 today.   Check this post later on.
