DORIS DIONYSOS DIOB station (2019) par SV1XV, on ipernity

This is a photo of our local uplink to the DORIS satellite positioning system. It transmits plain carrier (N0N) on 401.25 and 2036.25 MHz for Doppler positioning, with some FSK identification packets.

20191228-SXDVZ par SV1XV, on ipernity

The signal of DORIS DIOB transmitter on 401.25 MHz, reflected on SX-DVZ (Airbus A321, flight A3-614) with Doppler shift. The DORIS uplink is very weak at my site, it is only 19.6 km away but there is high ground blocking it.

You've got a nice setup for passive radar there!

Some day I would like to try to receive plane reflections on 2036.25 MHz, but I need a special antenna and LNA for this.
