I thought there was an unspoken agreement that this nonsense would be kept to 75/80 meters? 40 meters is suppose to be a sanctuary from this type of thing.

I think they know better than to try this nonsense on 160 meters. They're also probably rather deficient in the length of their antennas. Amongst other things.

True. I guess that's why they call it the 'Gentlemen band' I would like to pursue 160 meters in the winter when I can get a decent antenna for the band. I've made a couple of CW contacts on 160 on an 80m tuned dipole. It was obviously great conditions. If I remember correctly I was QRP at the time. I could be mistaken though.
