ARRL VHF January Contest, weekend of 1/18 - 1/20/ 2020!
« on: January 11, 2020, 1807 UTC »
Huh... This contest is a little later this year,  http://www.arrl.org/january-vhf  Sporadic "E" should be pretty much done by then, so let's hope for Temp Inversions and Aurora.
I was asked, yet another weird question, of how I would like to be buried, when I finally bite the big one. The answer was actually pretty easy. Face-down, like a certain historical figure in the late 1980's, (I will not mention who, but some of you will get it, and that's enough.) Why??? It would be a burial that will satisfy everyone: (1) My enemies will say that it will show me where to go. (2) On the same point, I can have my enemies kiss my butt. (3) It will temporarily give someone a place to park a bicycle. See??? A WIN / WIN for everyone.

Anyone who participates in the UHF/VHF, Please post your contacts good or bad so that I can live through you vicariously. I don't currently have those capabilities. Thanks

You probably didn't miss anything.  Nothing heard on 6M here but then my 6 meter set up is, shall we say, lacking.
The big guns undoubtedly made contacts... keep an eye on QST for results...  probably some amazing numbers.
IMHO, an odd time of year for a VHF contest.
