Lance Falls in Love

Oh my goodness gracious!
Doing my usual monitoring activities while finishing my taxes, minding my own business really, when Andrews hits me with the following EAMS on eight niner at 0:50 z

Now no disrespect intended, this fine patriot is serving our country with honor and is no doubt a far stronger and braver soul than my cowardly self, but that voice!  Maybe its that hint of valley girl inflection (for example, that joyful pronunciation of "sierra" in the second link) that seems so delightfully out of place in a military radio transmission, but she's got that special something.
I'm writing Andrews for an autographed QSL pronto!

We all know why they use phonetics, however on one or two of them
I'm not sure if I were a listener whether I would've picked up the correct letter.

Valley girl or whatever the message needs to come across correctly or there
could be consequences.

Yep- fer sure fer sur.... dolly-
Maybe you can enlist her aid to help you finish your taxes!  :o

Let us know if you et a QSL!  :-*

I've been kept away from the radio for a bit, but alas, no luck here lately in recapturing the magic of those dulcet tones.  However, my determined vigil shall now commence:  keeping one of my 3 radios (the trusty Kenwood R-1000) permenently tuned to HFGCS from now on.  Come back to Lance, oh sweet Dulcinea of the high frequecies!

I guess no luck on those high frequencies.  Sorry that happened.  Women, they are so fickle :P.
