A 6M rivival here locally? Maybe.
« on: April 25, 2020, 1947 UTC »
In the SW WV area, folks are trying to get some 6M activity going on both USB, (50.125MHz, 50.130MHz.), and FM, (52.525MHz.). Good!!!! With HF getting clogged with T-storm noise, 6M looks like a nice local alternative.
I was asked if I liked the 80's pop band The Go-Go's, and I answered that I listened to them, like many other Top 40 pop bands of the time, so Eh. However, I did mention that I did kind of feel sorry for them, since I thought that the band members couldn't have sex. I was then asked, "What do you mean?" My reply was, "Duh... They sing about it themselves, their lips are sealed!".

There was talk on a local rptr earlier today about a move to 70cm, 2m, and 6m ssb and simplex fm due the lack of hf propa of late. Apparently there's much more activity up there than usual.
