Channel Z 6925 AM Christmas show
« on: December 22, 2008, 0753 UTC »
Channel Z, Christmas theme music, 6925.1 AM, 12/22/08, 0215-0235 UTC, SINPO - 22311 (N. Central TX - indoor antenna)

0215 UTC: B-52's "Channel Z", into rock version of Christmas song, then faded for several minutes.
0227z: Back up, hearing distinctive voice of Channel Z op, then into Kate Bush singing traditional Christmas carol.
0235z: Back after long fade, Channel Z op with ID and QSL info (Blue Ridge Summit maildrop), then faded again
0240z: Faded or off, nary a het for a few minutes.

SINPO - 22311, tough condx, QRM from what sounds like digital noise, occasional OTHR, QRN, deep fades, best in USB due to local noise on LSB.

(N. Central TX - indoor fugloop antenna; about the same on the barefoot indoor portable too in AM mode)
