Hearing them well too at around S8 in West Texas. Just heard a THR ID (twice).
0447z - Heard a song unknown to me but sounds good. Then another ID.
0449z - Blink 182 - What's My Age.
0453z - Another tune I am not sure of. Peaking at around an S9. The best I have heard from them in a while.
0457z - Unknown song again (sorry).
0502z - Shoutouts to The Choat... And then a pretty deep fade.
0505z - Daddy Yankee - Gasolina (thank you soundhound on android app for the help with that!). Now into David Bowie - I'm Afraid of Americans @0507.
0508z - Bouncing around on different online receivers, Turtle Head coming in at S9 (or close to it) on a Trevor Wisconsin online receiver.
0516z - Lost them for a bit. Now hearing a Far East Movement - Like A G6 Remix.
0520z - I heard several shout-outs to The Choat, Mr. Shortwave, ME! (Thanks), and Aurora. Awesome!!!
0521z - Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am (another Sound Hound Save!).
0522z - More shoutouts!
0535z - Lost them for a bit again, Blink 182, I forget the song.
0541z - Ben Folds (w/ Regina Spektor) You Don't Know Me At All
0546z - THR, you are sounding better than I have ever heard from you. I would appreciate a QSL card if   possible.  Now hearing Metro Station - Shake IT (yet another sound hound save!)
0559z - Several ID's in a row. Starting to hit S9 20+.
0602z - Nu Shooz - I Can't Wait. Reminds me of my freshman year of high school. Awesome!
0604z - OMD - If You Leave.
0615z - Another fade out and closing with several shout outs and ID's. Thank you for your show THR.

ID included "Voice of the Mentally Handicapped" (thanks for the correction - I'm not all there neither)

Thanks for the show!!  & the shout-out!!

7/15/12, 6930 USB, 0515z: Turtlehead Radio ID, mix of hippy-hoppy sorta music I don't recognize.  Good clear signal peaks with some fades to barely audible.
0520z: Norah Jones?  Sounds kinda like her jazzy crooning.  (Ah, Ingrid Michaelson!  Thanks for the info, I like her voice.)
0526z: Never go full retard.
0544z: Turtlehead Radio ID, shout-outs to listeners logging (hey, me too!  Thanks.)
0108z: OMD "If You Leave"... '80s flashback0114z: SSTV for Turtlehead coming through (along with some doink tones)

0140z: Intermittent music and data/ute tones, no ID, sounds like could be two different stations.

Lex, per soundhound, it is Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am. I like it.

SDR recording here shows a S9 signal by sign off.
Had some QRM right in the middle of the USB but THR's audio was enough to cover it up.

The QRM did interfere with SSTV image.

Thanks for the show THR
