Eccentric Shortwave 6930
« on: August 07, 2012, 0744 UTC »
8/7/12, 6930, 0735z: Right after Blue Ocean Radio, another station with some jazzy music, then bluegrass version of "Sympathy For The Devil".  Not sure if Eccentric Shortwave on after QSO with BOR a little while ago.

8/7/2012, 6930 kHz USB,
0735 UTC, playing a female vocalist unknown to me.
0739, Bluegrass cover of Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the Devil". Now that's eccentric!
0743, "You are listening to Eccentric Shortwave".
0752, email annnounced as eccentricsw@yahoo.com Into more bluegrass music.

Off at 0801 UTC, and back into a short QSO with Blue Ocean Radio.

(First assumed Eccentric Shortwave as he just QSOed Blue Ocean Radio on this frequency before the start of this show.)

Sounds good, S-9 in Lansing, MI

Thanks for the late, late, LATE show!

Noted here on the SDR recording. Slightly better overall reception than BOR, which was on earlier.

Thanks for the show!
