8 Aug 2012

Came in from taking the dog out to hear the tail end of a song I could not ID (Iron Maiden) and then an RML ID.
Seemed to be on from *0208 - 0212*, but I'll listen to the recording later.

Around S8 here, and thanks RML!

Back on around 0220 with ID, shoutout (Thanks!), and addy.  Dune some testing.

Recorder catch:

6925 USB SIO 232

Fair signal with the conditions last night - not as noisy as it's been recently.  Haven't gone through complete recording yet, but appears RML was off & on at different times last night

01:42z on with Leeroy Jenkins internet meme - never thought I'd hear this on HF!
02:10z 'Run To The Hills' - Iron Maiden
02:21z Red Mercury Labs ID

Audio (01:42z-02:21z): http://archive.org/download/ShortwavePirateRadioCont/RedMercuryLabs6925Usb0142z-0221z08-08-12.mp3

Thanks RML! :)

Heard here starting at around 0143 on the SDR recording, off and on.

Also on later after the UNID station: http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,7893.msg21019.html#msg21019

0440: Red Mercury Labs came on, commenting on the mellow music

0445: Music, sounds like the UNID station, not RML.

0450: RML back on for a moment

0458: RML back on, singing Mexican Radio

0500: Music, not sure which station, based on signal strength I would guess RML

0510: RML back on for a few seconds.

0551: Someone singing, could be RML
