TRULY UNID 6925USB *0142 - 0200*
« on: August 08, 2012, 2214 UTC »
8 Aug 2012

Caught this last evening between times noted on 6925.070USB.  Starts out with what sounds like a QSO, then dial tones, shouting, audio clip "Warning! Warning!  Bullschizzler alert!" (available for download as a ring tone online), poss whistles and belches and maybe a fart thrown in for good measure, fragment of a haunting melody (poss speed enhanced) sung by a YL, sheep bleating, crickets, phone ringing, poss rutting hog SFX...you get the picture.  The QSO may have been independent and not related the all the SFX?

Have not had the time to listen in detail, but I wanted to post this before it got too old.  Maybe a test, but definitely entertaining!  I was not able to catch an ID.

Thanks!

Reviewed my recording from lastnight at the same time. Weak. Can hear a male voice talking. All I can pull out is "....oh OK..." followed by some laughter around 0142.  Whistles and other noises at 0144, Some more talk around 0145. Noises and sped up music around 0151.  Weak here. Thanks for the posting.

Checking the SDR recordings... I had it here also. Tough to make all of it out. Heard "OK guys" at 0145. Heard the telco "the number you have reached... is an unpublished number" message at 0146. "Red alert" heard around 0157z.

Very curious. Great catch!

My reaction to this, on listening to the audio file, was what the...?!

It sounded like the OP, whoever they were, was playing the audio from a movie as a base for a while.  That was some creepy audio too, with all the oh my God, oh my God! going on.  And whatever the YL was singing there sounded a *lot* like 'Let It Be', but the melody was off by a note or so, not to mention modulated and sped up.  Huh.

Interesting, this one.  Now I'm wondering who sent this out.

I posted part of this over in the Red Mercury Labs log - I couldn't hear the other bizarre sounds JF did, but the 'Leeroy Jenkins' part was audible.
