XFM 6950
« on: August 10, 2012, 0309 UTC »
03:00 on air after the usual pre-show warm up.
Opened with B52's "Channel Z"
Strong S9 signal.
Said this was an "offical show".

03:07  Conditions here went down or something as the signal is all but gone.

6950 kHz AM, 8/10/2012,
0254 UTC playing techno.

Intermittent voice announcements muffled here, I can't read. IDed as XFM by pirate chatroom member.

SINPO=43343

0305- DJ chatter, caught mention of "XFM". DEFINATELY getting clobbered by this ute-type thing.
Signal S-9 but sounds like ute-data transmission or radar or something mixing with it and nearly as strong.

Hard to listen to by 0314, the interference is really wrecking it here! Bummer.
Now SINPO=32332

About a s4-s5 here in SWPA. Just had some t-storms roll through. I was able to make out Matchbox 20 - Push at 0345 though.

Fairly good signal into northern Canada. Had bad interference noted by another poster.

Next weeks contest: guess how many Volkswagons can fit in Joy Behars mouth. I pick five.
