I and others in Michigan have been hearing "555" sent in Morse code repeatedly since at least 2300 (it is still going at 0145 but starting to fade a bit).

There is apparently some sort of 'carrier' at 6960 but the code is clearly at 6961.

Does anyone have a clue about this?

DXing *either* from:
MI -- South Central Lower Michigan with a 25 m randomwire and a LOT of local noise!
or
MI2 -- the tip of Michigan's Thumb with a 100 metre longwire and much quieter conditions.  Radios can be either an SPR-4 or IC-R71A or SDRplay

QSLs appreciated! radioguy73@gmail.com

I logged this somewhat earlier; it was noted at 7:45 local/0145 UTC. Signal strength was sometimes spotty, but mostly as strong as it is now.
All logs made from my own SDRs, boatanchors, and antennas

2145 UTC Seems to be three groups of "5" separated by a very slight hesitation....I'm counting roughly 21-2/5  "5's" per minute
