Recorder catch:

6925 (rx in USB) SIO 322-323

Wasn't sure what mode this was in, but at 05:13z the signal strength went up nicely - may have been two different stations or possible same station switching over to USB after running in AM first?

04:51z on with music, but can’t make out song
05:13z  ‘Everybody Knows’ – Leonard Cohen
05:19z Off

Audio: http://archive.org/download/ShortwaveOddsSodsTransmissions/Unid_pirate6925Am-usb0451z-0519z08-22-12.mp3

Thanks! :)

SDR recording catch, AM mode based on the waterfall. About S6 here, but a fair bit of static made copy tough. Off at 0511

Then a USB station came up just before 0514z, with "Everybody knows", off at 0519z.

So the question is - one station that switched modes, or two stations? The overall reception of both stations was about the same here, but by this time 43 meters has gone long here, and everything sounds about the same :-)

Recorder Catches on 6925.050USB

I caught both transmissions and I say both because there seems to be a clear audio break between both.

The first heard here was 0451-0511z, and was in around S9.  There was a low freq het which leads me to believe that it was AM.  Audio here was rather low, but there seemed to be two songs.  If I squint my ears I can convince myself that hte first tune was the Leonard Cohen track.  The second track I can't ID.

The second heard here was 0514 - 0519z, and was in around S6, and was most likely USB.  This was also the Leonard Cohen track.  No ID heard.

Seems to me that both probably came from the same op.

Thanks!
