Sure is. EU repeaters are very strong particularly the Polish one on .680. Great fun. I've been told one in NY pops up occasionally on .620. Will be listening out for that today.

Yes Indeed!

Best conditions I've heard for 10+ years, 200+ contacts in 5 days mostly via the Polish repeater but quite a few on SSB with very strong local 50-200 mile distances, so very short hop. A couple using A.M too  V deep QSB but with s bit of patience a good convo can be had. Flat so far today but has been going on for about a month. I'm worn out chatting ..

11 meters has been very good here as well. Lots of skip within the US as well as from Latin America. Nothing observed from Europe yet, however.

Yes. 10/11 meters have been great. Ive been able to work stations all over the country with a 100 watts and a low dipole. No real DX though, unless you count Canada and SA. I even worked a bunch of stations on 27.385 when there's not much activity on 10M. (12 Watts PEP of course) 6M has been open a bit also. Seems like most of the time I'm at work when conditions are good. I did manage to work a station in Michigan last night on 50.125 using the same low dipole.

Hey All,

No Es dice here but got something lower down that I've tried to get for YEARS. Please see my post in  the MW section.

Tried ATS 803a with 20 vertical in park across from apt. Highest frq copied was loud data in QSB on 17085. That is were I maxed out. Not a PEEP above that. One E skip map showed a weak opening from NC over my QTH to Nova Scotia. Later on I saw Dx maps seeming to show a better situation with some fairly long  openings on 10 and 6. Maybe they were weak signals   but to well equipped  stations. My set up was kind of crumby, but if opening was big, I would THINK I would have copied something .Not a biggie though. I got some HF time in, something I haven't done in a LONG time.Overall, a "good" session on HF and  awesome on MW.

Quick log :2030 UTC -Nothing in 16 MB B'cast. No signal on  15 WWV, 15035 Gander Radio Wx good, but  only 3 broadcasts in 19 M. 20 M copied NE US only.40 M  CW was HOT, copied only NE US on voice. QSO's complain of noise and QSB on what I would think should have been more stable possibly NVIS paths. Overall things good but short and wobbly.

0334z at night and 11m is hopping with activity. Not even a SDR or desktop receiver needed here. I am in the den right now using just a basic eBay SI4732 receiver and a 9' vertical ground mounted over a four 9' radials in the backyard.
