a easy 22m dipole.

I am looking for something to throw up quick. I just purchased my own 22m transmitter to play around with.
(3) 3-500z's for that clean broadcast sound

Sure!

Take ~35' of wire

Cut it in half


Connect the coax inner conductor to one half, the shield to the other, get the whole mess in the air, and you're good to go.

nice ok good deal! I want to direct feed it from the transmitter and keep the transmitter enclosure closest to the feed point.

A horizontal dipole can be hard to beat for simplicity of design and deployment, though note height can make a considerable difference on performance and directivity.

If you can not get it a half wavelength - about 36' - or better above ground, then you might fair better for DX with a vertical antenna.
