19 Sep 2012

0035 Started seeing a weak carrier here.
0053  Just starting to hear music now.  Seems to be a weak CW in the LSB.
0108 Steve Winwood - "Sledgehammer"

Hey Z!  Same here; I have a nice bright line in the waterfall for an S9 carrier, but ain't got no mods.

Well, not happening here; but thanks for the show.  Will catch kk7's audio later.

I'm hearing this too, but weak:

0137 UTC: ID but couldn't make it out: "We're the best ...... radio station......" and into Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls".
0149 UTC: Signal peaked for a few minutes, sounds like more 80s pop music.
0158 UTC: Samantha Fox "I Wanna Have Some Fun"
0200 UTC: Another ID, during signal fade - couldn't catch it   :(
0205 UTC: Signal strength varying all over the place, up to S8 at one time down to S3 a few seconds later.
0207 UTC: Martika "Toy Soldiers"
0211 UTC: Dance song "Baby you know, I want to know..."
0213 UTC: Another missed ID
0214 UTC: Terence Trent D'arby "Wishing Well"
0223 UTC: Off

CW interference also heard before engaging the notch filter.

Thanks for the show tonight!

Enough carrier here to lock the sync, but no audio yet for me.

Hi Joe - maybe a hint of mods now and then.

SDR catch. 0027z sign on, sounded like an OM talking (comedy sketch?), tough to tell as there was CW interference.
Music heard starting around 0031z.
Sledgehammer heard at 0109z as per other loggings.
0121: OM talking?
0206: Music heard

Really weak most of the time, with an obvious carrier on the SDR waterfall, but often not much audio. It sounded like there could be two stations in there? (Besides the CW) It reminds me a lot of the weird spur/mixing product I often hear late at night on 6925 (usually around 0700z)
