Tremendous band opening on 10 meters this evening running North/South from my ham shack in Dixie. Was going across the entire band working DX. Many several in the lower SSB area, several chats on the N.J. 29.620 repeater, was several AM qso's on 29.000 and 29.050. - As I was tuning across the AM portion came across a strange Beeping transmission on 29.150 Signal had a carrier, best heard from CW but clearly was not CW. Beeps with same repeating spacing and duration. Clearly automated. Not a digital transmission. Guessing might be some sort of Fishing Buoy type transmission coming off the NE Coast. Was receiving Delaware right up through New England. If a "commercial" buoy .... should be illegal on 10 meters right? Only heard this one single signal in the area. Will listen for it again this summer. Anyone have any idea?
