UNID Phonetics 6925/6950USB 0131z 15Oct2012
« on: October 15, 2012, 0149 UTC »
0131 Was watching something else when a USB fired up on 6925, and I caught the end of a phonetics tx which ended around 0132.
It then fired up on 6950USB, and I was able to get the recorder going in time.

"P A P I X S standby message follows."  Message.  "This is Sulphuric out"

Heard again 6925 at 0148z

Heard here on the SDR, just after Pissant Radio went off the air. A little stronger than the earlier transmissions.

Sounds like an excellent spoof of EAM's as heard on 11175 and other USAF frequencies.  In fact, that's what I thought it was until I noticed the "ROMNEY SUCKS" message.  I'll have to look up the callsign "SULFURIC" and see what I can find.
Happiness is a good antenna system.
