I always thought "konec" is only used in Polish comms as the Russians normally use "priyom" for handing over the connection...
*thinking*
Hi Thomas
These are the nuances of Polish and Russian, and the meaning is as follows:
- koniec = конец = end, means ending a message or a communication
- odbiór = приём = over, means I have finished the telegram and I am going to listen
Russian has three similar letters, pronounced (Slavonic) as:
э Э = e е Е = je ё Ё = jo
Polish operators also use "bez odbioru" ="without reception" = "over and out"
Best regards 73 !
