WFME 1560 test transmission
« on: October 31, 2021, 0413 UTC »
I have a solid S7 signal with a WFME test transmission for coverage purposes. WFME returns to the air from a new transmitter location. The following link includes more information about the reason for the test.

04:24 UTC - Station ID: "This is 1560 AM WFME New York. What you are hearing is a test transmission ...". It is mixed in with another station. Going to switch over to the Wellbrook loop and see if I can isolate the signal.
04:29 UTC - Coming in good on the loop antenna. Not bad for a 1kW station.

Family Radio has returned to the airwaves.

What you are hearing is a test signal of Family Radio New York, broadcasting from West Orange New Jersey into greater New York City including the Bronx.

We are conducting a covered test. If you would like to send us a signal report, contact Family Radio during normal business hours at 1-800-543-1495 or by e-mail at requests@familyradio.org

Just sent my reception report to the request@falmilyradio.org but it bounced. I then tried respect@familyradio.org (wasn't 100% on request) but that bounced as well.

Mr. Google to the rescue:  requests@familyradio.org

Found it on the RadioDiscussions board:

WFME is now playing a repeating loop announcing that they are testing the signal and inviting listeners to submit reception reports by calling Family Radio's 1-800 number or e-mailing requests@familyradio.org.
