Portable Location: Roosevelt Lake, Arizona - south shore, just east of the dam
Rigs: Yaesu FT-817 with 9 ft whip on the one-man teardrop trailer, also modified Radio Shack DX-394 attached to 6 ft whip on the truck

2097.38 0606z "A" very strong
3449.70 0607z "OK" weak but readable
4077.27 0628z "MO" very weak
4078.25 0609z "W" good solid signal
4079.62 0611z "TMP 55" good solid signal
4089.25 0630z DVNP dasher with good signal
4096.00 0612z COXIE, HEXIE, and KELSIE all strong in the bandpass
4097.43 0633z "KX" very weak with SSB QRM, to rough to copy temps

I have had guys e mail me and say they have never heard any of these milliwatt beacons...
your report proves that low power CW gets out...
