Exactly why I stopped logging them. They break out of repeat mode occasionally but it's been the rule rather than the exception for about three years now.

Yes I agree.  I still take the three minutes a day to monitor (usually 1600z 11435kHz) but this is the longest dry run that I can recall since 2016 or so.
It's like a broken record.

Yeah. I got into this hobby in part because I heard about numbers stations and was fascinated, and because HM01 is readily copyable all over the country it was the first one I ever found - a genuinely exciting moment. Now it's pretty much a joke. It's too bad I wasn't a DXer in the 90s.
