I can't TX on 10/11 meters with my current temporary antenna ): 12M is quite active also, but it's weird. Not a lot of SSB going on, but the lower CW portion is very busy. I can't get a dit or a dah in edgewise!

P.S - When you have a min, please check my posting in 'Equipment' and see what you think. Thanks

Update - (15:05) Was able to work OM3KFO (Slovak Republic) on 24.902 CW (5158 miles from my QTH)

Around 17' to 17.5' of whatever wire divided by two elements, and pretty much whatever 50- or 75-ohm coax ya' have. ;)

....or....

A magnet mount CB mobile antenna tossed on a car in the driveway and some coax.

....or....

A randomwire thrown out a window into a tree and using an outboard tuner. As short as 29' probably should get ya' on 10/11.

Congrats on the nice contact on 12m. :) Upper HF is looking promising today.

Yeah. It sucks that I can't work 10M currently, but I don't want to go through the process of making another temporary antenna for one band right now. Just being lazy I suppose.

It took a lot of patience, but I was just able to work MI0SAI (Ireland) on 24.977 USB and we both had a great 5/8 on both sides. Great to see activity on 12M again.

Yeah. It's too bad that it starts to taper down after the beacon portion of 10M ): Like most others on here, if I want to know how 10M might perform, I always check 27 Mhz first!
