FLDigi and CW - keyer help
« on: July 13, 2022, 1900 UTC »
Hi all,

So I'm a newb, and trying to figure my way through what I'm sure is a dumb question. Here's my setup:

- Raspberry Pi running FLDigi.
- Pixie CW transceiver (40m).

My intention is to have FLDigi generate keyboard CW (via its "CW Mode") and send the CW data to the Pixie. I was simply going to plug one end of a 3.5mm cable into the Raspberry Pi's headphone port, and plug the other end out to the Pixie's "Key" port.

My question is: Will the Pixie pick up the FLDigi data via the Pixie's key port, and generate a signal?

Figured I'd check here before I fry anything.
